GOP tackle obesity, chronic disease.
Obesity becomes a major platform at the Republican National Convention. An article in the Nashua Telegraph writes about Republican congressional candidate, Robert Clegg addressing the issue of obesity at St. Paul. Clegg himself lost a 100 pounds after undergoing obesity surgery in Boston last year, according to the article. He has since convinced the NH legislature to make insurance to cover the procedure. The article can be read here.
