Thus, leading to speculations that there might be a causal connection between High Fructose Corn Syrup consumption and weight gain." Interesting article, though this is probably something that should be tackled by the individual. If you dislike corn syrup, people will have to make the conscious decision to avoid products that include it as one of the ingredients. the market will adjust according to the consumers needs. But I understand that the corn industry is also mounting an aggressive campaign to promote corn syrup as being "safe".
